Our Mission

Our Vision
Our vision is to establish Camp Pinnacle as a beautiful, friendly place for individuals and groups to experience the grace of God in the Capital region for refreshing hearts and encouraging real and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Purpose
God has strategically placed Camp Pinnacle’s 880-acre facility at the top of the scenic Helderberg Mountains, overlooking the Capital District of New York State to impact many people for Christ. The purpose of Pinnacle Ministries is to share Christ's message, make disciples, and enhance the ministry of the local church by partnering with them and other ministries. We accomplish this through summer camps, year-round retreats, and conferences promoting growth in Christ and practical service. We are always growing in our knowledge of Christ through the study and practice of God's truth as found in the Bible.

Our Credentials
God started this ministry in 1898 and its need is greater today than ever. We were incorporated in 1915 and are a registered 501© (3) organization. We are a member in good standing with the Christian Camp and Conference Association.
Our Message is Jesus
God loves us so very very much and wants to restore us to Himself!
Jesus is Creator
God created everything! Rational design not only makes sense, it is revealed to us in the Scriptures. We know Jesus as our Creator “for by Him all things were created” Colossians 1:16, John 1:10.
Jesus is Redeemer
All of humanity has “sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”. (Romans 3:23) The wages of our “sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Jesus became the remedy for sin by paying this price for us (John 3:16). We must repent (turn from sin to God and change our lives) by receiving Him as Savior. (Luke 13:3, John 1:12)
Jesus is Judge
We will all answer to Him and be judged. At the name of Jesus every knee will bow in reverence. (Philippians 2:10)
Our Ministry
Camp Pinnacle was founded 1898 as the first women’s camp in the world. Over the years our ministry has grown to include men and women, young and old on over 880 beautiful acres at the top of Helderberg Mountain overlooking the Capital of New York State. Our summer camp is an exciting place for young people to meet the Lord, make friends and grow in their faith. We have a growing number of specialty camps (i.e horse, motorcycle). Year-round we are a great place for your church or organization to have your retreat or conference. We also put on our own exciting conferences for Ladies and youth.
